County Files Public Nuisance Action Against Poise Lounge
JACKSON, Tenn. – A public nuisance action has been filed against a Madison County night club. According to Sheriff David Woolfork, at his request, Madison County Attorney Steve Maroney filed the petition in Chancery Court, Thursday. The petition requests that Poise Lounge, also known as the UpNorth Club located at 3883 Highway 45 North, be declared a Public Nuisance and closed. According to the Sheriff’s Office, their investigation revealed there were more than 26 complaints that required action by law enforcement officials between October 2012 and April 2013. A news release stated that the building is owned by Todd Krasner and operated by Carrie Fowler and Donald Roig. A court date has not yet been scheduled.
