JACKSON, Tenn.- Four new members entered the Jackson-Madison County Sports Hall of Fame, Thursday night. Earlier in the day, the honorees gathered for a luncheon. The inductees included Ginger Bryant, Chris Maxwell, Franklin Payne and Sandra Fitzgerald. Keith Spann and Reggie Smith received other awards. Al Wilson of the Denver Broncos was the guest speaker at Thursday night’s banquet at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. “It makes you feel like all the blood, sweat and tears and all the determination and the sleepless nights you know really paid off so you know it’s one of those that all of the hard work and dedication really shows you know for a night like this,” said Al Wilson, Hall of Famer, 2009. Part of the ceremony also included the awarding of scholarships to many students at area high schools.
