Lady Lions clinch first-ever TranSouth championship
HENDERSON, Tenn.- The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions made history by winning the program’s first-ever TranSouth Conference championship after sweeping a double-header from Bethel University, Thursday. Lady Lions’ Amber Vansandt hit her third home run of the season in game two. The wins improved the number-20 Lady Lions to 26-6 on the season and more importantly, 14-0 in conference play.
