Fish Fry Grand Parade Takes to the Streets of Paris

PARIS, Tenn.- The rain rolled in late Friday morning in Paris, but it was not enough to stop the World’s Biggest Fish Fry parade. Thousands lined the streets for all the festivities. Even with the rain…. floats, marchers and bands made their way throug the city, marking the annual event that solutes the deep fried delicacy. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News talked to some of the folks along the parade route, who said they come out every year for the food and to catch up with old friends. “It brings family together. It’s just a special time to get together just spending time with my family and bringing back the child mood memories of coming to the fish fry when I was a little girl,” said Tiara Hardin, who watched the parade. A carnival and other festivities will continue through Saturday.
