Skyhawk QB to Participate in Giants Tryout

MARTIN, Tenn.- A former UT Martin quarterback is headed to the Big Apple to test his skills. Derek Carr is headed to New York to participate in a tryout over the weekend for a spot on the Giants roster. Carr will compete in a series of practices on Friday and Saturday. He is also one of the best quarterbacks in UT Martin history, throwing seven touchdowns in not one, but two games last season.
