Standoff in East Madison County
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.- A tense situation in East Madison County, Thursday night as the SWAT team is called out after a man barricades himself in his home along McKay Drive. The sheriff’s department said they were called out after woman ran to her neighbor’s house, asking for help. She said her brother was off his medication and was acting in a threatening way. Deputies said when they went to the door he locked it and refused to come out. Investigators said they did not believe he had any weapons.
