Deadly Car Crash Claims One Life

JACKSON, Tenn. – A deadly car crash on Highway 70 claimed one life Saturday morning. Officials said the five car wreck claimed the life of thirty-year-old Miranda Maness of Jackson. The crash happened on Highway 70, eastbound near Spain Road. Officials said the crash began when a Ford F-150 failed to stop, striking a Nissan Altima and sending it into oncoming traffic. None of the other drivers were injured, and officials said Maness’ seatbelt was not in use.
