Salvation Army Takes Kids Back-to-School Shopping

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Salvation Army took dozens of children in need on a back-to-school shopping spree, Wednesday. Twenty-three children, along with officials from the Salvation Army, stocked up on school supplies at the Target store in North Jackson. Students received everything from pens and paper to brand new school uniforms. Target gave each student about $80 to spend. Students who attend Jackson-Madison County Schools will head back to class Friday.
