Local Business Helps Homeless Find Work

EAST JACKSON — One Jackson business is helping some people down on their luck get back on their feet. Second Chance is offering help to homeless people and inmates trying to find a job. They held a job fair Monday. The program helps 16 people at a time and during the process, people can get help with their resumes and advice on having a successful interview The founder says the goal is to help each person get better. Organizers say they plan to start to try to start doing it bi-monthly.
