Atwood Community Meets to Discuss Possible Closing of Post Office

ATWOOD, Tenn. — Another West Tennessee post office may be closing soon. On Wednesday afternoon, a town hall meeting was held at the Atwood Post Office to discuss the possible closure or hour reduction of operation times. Some people in the community say that those in Trezevant and McLemoresville have to drive to Atwood to purchase stamps or mail packages because their post offices are also not open when needed.
