One Injured in an Early Morning Accident on Highland Ave.

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police confirm a single vehicle accident on South Highland Avenue early Friday morning. Police say an SUV hit a barrier on the side of the road and flipped over. Officers say the vehicle caught on fire, and was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived at the scene. Crews were able to put that fire out. The driver of the vehicle was injured and taken to a local hospital.
