Tennesseans Could Get More Money After E-Book Settlement

JACKSON, Tenn. — More money could be coming your way if you bought e-books from April 2010 through May 21, 2012 then you will receive account credits or checks starting Tuesday. This is a result of the resolution of an e-book price-fixing lawsuit brought by the Tennessee attorney general and attorneys general from 32 other states. The publishers have reached a 166 million dollar settlement in 33 states, including Tennessee. The companies are accused of raising prices, which forced consumers to pay more than they should, for e-books.
