Gibson County School Bus Slides off Road

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — An area school bus full of students had a minor accident, Tuesday morning. According to Gibson County Director of Schools Eddie Pruett, a bus headed to Rutherford School was pulling out of a driveway when the driver attempted to avoid a pothole. While trying to go around it, the shoulder gave way and the bus went into a field. Pruett said the bus was going around 5 mph at the time. The bus got stuck so another bus came and picked up the kids on the bus and transported them to school. None of the kids on the bus were injured, and the bus also did not sustain any damage.
