Humboldt Man Arraigned For with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A man accused of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor was formally charged on Tuesday morning. The investigation surrounding the charges started more than a month ago, and just last week led to the arrest Terrell Pharms, of Humboldt. Pharms appeared in Madison County General Sessions Court on Tuesday morning. In late February, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that said a Facebook user had downloaded, uploaded or viewed “child pornography”. Further investigation revealed that the Facebook account belonged to Pharms, 31. The ICAC Task Force consists of officers with the Madison County Sheriff‘s Office and the Jackson Police Department. Pharms will make his next court appearance on May 20 at 1 p.m.
