Jackson Mayor Recognizes Championship Basketball Team
DOWNTOWN JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Mayor Jerry Gist recognized the Southside boy’s basketball team at the City Council meeting Tuesday morning. Each team member received a lapel pin. The Hawks defeated East Nashville in double overtime 91-83 last month to bring home the program’s first ever state title.
