DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A month of miraculous works kicked off in the city of Jackson. More than 500 volunteers are expected to help make miracles happen for the second year in a row during this “Month of Miracles” in Jackson. More than 50 projects are planned for the next 30 days, ranging from home repairs to yard work to art classes for children. Organizers say it will give Jacksonians the chance to give back in unique ways. “We hope that we will just create a city of people being connected, people volunteering people building relationship with each other [and] getting out of their comfort zone and doing something that they wouldn’t normally do,” Monique Merriweather, Director of Neighborhood Services said. It’s not too late to sign up to volunteer if you need more information, visit this site: http://projects.miraclesinjackson.com/
