Alcohol May Have Been a Factor in Deadly Wreck

TRENTON, Tenn. — A car wreck in Trenton claimed the life of one, Tuesday night. According to Trenton Police Chief Sanders, Bradford Higgins of Brownsville was traveling south on Highway 45 Bypass at around 7:15 p.m. Witnesses at the scene said that the vehicle driven by Higgins had crossed the yellow line a couple of times prior to the wreck. When approaching another other driver just north of Christmasville Road, Higgens crossed the yellow line and they collided head on. The crash is still under investigation, but evidence on the scene suggested alcohol may have been a factor. Officials are still waiting on the toxicology report. Higgins was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not injured. Both drivers wearing seat belts.
