BUCHANAN, Tenn. — Caution tape surrounds the house where a reported lover’s quarrel ended in gunfire. Deputies said a man was shot by his wife’s ex-boyfriend after an argument. “It’s definitely out of the ordinary,” Investigator David Doyle of the Henry County Sheriff’s Department said. Investigators said Jason Owen went into the house with a gun, demanding Guy Biggs’ wife leave with him. That’s when deputies said Owen and Biggs got into an argument that ended with Biggs shot in the chest. He was taken by medical helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Deputies said Owens turned himself in early Wednesday morning, but because there are still so many unanswered questions, they said the investigation is only beginning. “Apparently there was a relationship between all three of the people,” Investigator Doyle said. Owen is being held at the Henry County jail on $500,000 bond. According to deputies, Biggs is still in critical but stable condition.
