MILLINGTON, Tenn. — Deputies in Tipton County say a tip led to the seizure of a marijuana grow operation and the arrest of a man on drug and weapon charges. Investigators say as soon as they got to Russell Oddell II’s home in Millington on Wednesday night, they could smell marijuana. Deputies say a “grow tent” was found in the bedroom of the home. Four marijuana plants, which were about four-feet tall, were inside. Three guns were also recovered. Oddell, 37, faces the charges of Manufacturing of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm during a Dangerous Felony. Oddell is now free on $5,000 bond.
