North Side Student Struck by Vehicle

NORTH JACKSON — A North Side High School student was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street on Thursday afternoon. According to Lt. Mike Landreth, the teen boy had minor injuries, which included a broken wrist. The student was crossing West University Parkway during dismissal when the he was struck while attempting to cross the street. The student was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. According to Lt. Blankenship, no citations were issued to the driver.
