Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspects

WEST JACKSON, Tenn. – A worker at the Family Dollar told police two men not only robbed her at gunpoint, but fired a shot right by her head, Wednesday night. Jackson police are searching the city for them. Investigators said around 8:50 p.m., the two men walked into the Family Dollar at 1011 Old Hickory Boulevard and robbed the two workers of cash from the register. No customers were in the store. Investigators did not say why they believe a shot was fired. Neither of the workers were hurt. The two suspects were last seen running toward Kmart. The description of the two is vague.
