NORTH JACKSON — Leaders around Jackson were behind bars for a good cause on Wednesday. Community leaders agree to be part of the MDA lock-up, a program where leaders from all around Jackson go behind bars as they raise bail money to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. An organizer of the event says this is a unique and fun way to help local children and adults. MDA lock-up organizers say about 70 people participated and their goal is for each person to raise $800.
