Convicted Felon Accused of Shooting Has Case Bound Over to Grand Jury

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The convicted felon accused of shooting another man with a sawed-off shotgun last week had his case bound over to the grand jury on Thursday. Brandon Keen, 24, faces an attempted 2nd degree murder, evading arrest, and weapons charges. Police say the shooting happened on April 14 at Brookfield apartments following a fight at the Airways Motel. Officers say Keen shot the victim with a sawed off shotgun, and could also face federal firearms charges.
