Man at Center of Steroid Investigation Formally Charged

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man who was indicted on multiple drug charges last week appeared in court on Monday to be formally charged. Brigham Jaynes, 24, was arraigned on four counts of Sale and Delivery of Schedule III Drugs. His charges came after a 7-month investigation involving the distribution and sale of illegal steroids. Investigators say steroids — both pills and injectables — marijuana, xanax and a loaded shotgun were found at his home during his arrest.. Jaynes is free on $10,000 bond.
