West TN Strawberry Festival Opening Night
HUMBOLDT, Tenn.- The city of Humboldt officially kicks off the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival Monday night. Hundreds came out in time for a night of festivities. This is the 76th year of the Strawberry Festival. Events roll on Tuesday morning with a prayer breakfast followed by a recipe contest the following night. “It is the one thing that our community comes together for every year each person in this community and each family is commited to the strawberry festival and everyone participates in it and it’s a great time to fellowship with one another,” said Terri Crider, chairman of the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival. Parades, pageants, and other festivities are planned for the rest of the week.
