Crews Repairing Potholes Left From Brutal Winter

NORTHEAST JACKSON — Winter may be over, but it is not done taking a toll on the roads. Crews were out Wednesday repairing the streets of Jackson from the many potholes the winter weather left behind. City street worker Authur Chism says the city is working to fix the potholes because clear streets are crucial to the city’s operations. “It’s important for us to get out there and get them fixed because we have got to keep the city going and that is really important,” Chism said. City workers tell us there was an increase from the usual amount potholes in the area this year.
