JPD Officer Injured During Foot Chase

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson police officer was injured while on the job after a foot chase Saturday afternoon. Investigators say the officer was responding to a domestic call on Division Street. A suspect ran from the officer who then hurt his leg during the chase. The officer was taken to the hospital by ambulance Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Police say the suspect, now in custody, was also taken to the hospital for a head injury.
