MCNIARY COUNTY, Tenn. — A portion of Highway 64 in McNairy County has been renamed in honor of man who lost his life on the road, but is known best for helping others. The intersection of Highway 64 and Rose Creek Road was unveiled on Monday as the Larron King Memorial Highway. King died after a wreck two years ago, while driving from his job in Middleton. Friends say he worked tirelessly to raise money for St. Jude and the Ronald McDonald House following his daughter’s death from cancer.
