Driver Charged with DUI After Police Say He Plowed into Building

ALAMO, Tenn. — A 77-year-old man who police say drove through a building on Tuesday is being charged with DUI. Richard Finch of Alamo, was arrested on Tuesday after police say he plowed through a USDA service center around 5:30 p.m. No one was inside the building at the time of the crash. Alamo Police say Finch lost control of the car in the South Bells Street Food Rite parking lot. In addition to DUI, Finch was also charged with Reckless Endangerment, Vandalism over $50,000, Violation of Seat Belt Law and Driving while Uninsured. Finch was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
