Medina Native Named OVC Female Athlete of the Year
JACKSON, Tenn. — Just two days away from her WNBA debut with the San Antonio Stars, Heather Butler has another title to add to her resume: Ohio Valley Conference Female Athlete of the Year. The Medina native finished her career at UTM as the OVC’s all-time leading scorer with 2,865 career points. That point total ranks Butler at 16th on the NCAA‘s all-time scoring list. Butler will receive her award at the League‘s annual Honors Brunch on May 30 in Nashville.
