Jackson Car Wreck Kills One

EAST MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A single car accident on Wednesday afternoon kills one. According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Jimmy Robinson, 55, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus when he lost control of the car, left the road and hit a tree. Robinson was ejected from the vehicle. He died at the scene. The accident happened on the 100 block of Cotton Grove Road in Jackson around 3:15 p.m. Deputies say Robinson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
