JEA Inspecting East Jackson Sink Area

EAST JACKSON — A traffic cone is all that separates drivers from a possible “sink area” in East Jackson. The area in question is between James and Holland Streets, and JEA is inspecting any damage. A spokesperson for the utility company says the sinking could be because of a sewer problem. The area has been blocked with a cone as a precaution, until workers can determine the root of the problem.
