JACKSON, Tenn.- More than 1,000 American flags could be seen Tuesday in the “Flags of Freedom” dedication program. All proceeds from the program and the purchased flags went directly to the Exchange Club/Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. This is the seventh year for the program. “We want people to recognize and realize how precious and valuable our life is here and how the people take care of us and how we have freedom because of the ones that do the things they do for us,” said Anna Page, chairperson for this year’s Flags of Freedom” event. For more information on the programs through the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, visit the “Seen on 7” section.
