Former Sonic Employees Case Waived to Grand Jury

JACKSON, Tenn.- Thursday, former Sonic employee Dezeare Higgs waives her right to a preliminary hearing on arson and felony vandalism charges. Her case now goes to the grand jury. Police said on April 2, Higgs and another former employee can be seen on surveillance video at the Sonic on North Highland Avenue, setting paper on fire, putting it in a garbage can and leaving. About $2,000 in damage was reported.
