JACKSON, Tenn. — The wait is over for iPhone fans in Jackson. The iPhone 6 and 6 plus hit stores Friday. That means people who have been waiting to get their hands on the new phone can finally do so. Apple announced earlier this week it sold a record 4 million of the smartphones last Friday — the first day the phones were available for pre-order. And if you couldn’t wait to buy the phone in store, Apple says because demand has been so high, some customers who pre-ordered online will not receive them until early November.
