Men formally charged in Muse Park sting

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Two men accused of soliciting sex from a minor in a public park were officially charged Monday. Tracy Morton and Troy Brooks both are charged with solicitation of aggravated statutory rape. Police say late last week, an undercover officer posed as a minor at muse park and was approached and solicited for sex by both men. The undercover officer told both men he was 17 in conversation before being solicited, according to court documents. Both are now free on $15,000 bond.
