Jackson man accused of beating, kicking wife

SOUTH JACKSON — An argument between a husband and wife on Monday led to a woman being beaten and kicked, according to court documents. Kyle Clarence Wolf is charged with aggravated domestic assault in the incident that occurred at a home on Southside Drive in Jackson. A woman reported to police that her husband, Wolf, had been drinking when an argument erupted between them. She said Wolf punched her, knocking her down, then pinned her down and head-butted her. The woman said when she was able to escape outside the home, Wolf caught her, grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground and kicked her several times, the report states. Court documents said the woman had swelling to her forehead and an injury to her lips as a result of the assault. Wolf was given a no-contact order and is being held on $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 20 for a preliminary hearing.
