Man injured in Taser incident not able to appear in court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man injured after Jackson police apprehended him with a Taser while trying to take him into custody Tuesday did not make his scheduled court appearance Friday morning. Madison county jailers tell us Sontos Holmes still is in their custody but due to a medical issues did not make his scheduled appearance to be formally charged with evading arrest. Holmes was wanted on three outstanding warrants for driving violations and failing to pay child support.
