GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — With the threat of severe weather, emergency response officials throughout the area spent the day preparing, just in case. We caught up with Gibson County EMA director Rickey Graves. He says West Tennesseans should prepare before they go to bed tonight by making sure their family has an emergency plan, their weather radio is working and by staying informed. “Be watching every aspect that they can of our information flow looking for us on the social media sites, Facebook and websites,” Graves said. “Just be aware of the conditions around them.” Another reminder — keep your phone charged just in case the power goes out, and make sure you have backup batteries in your weather radio.
