Free cancer screenings offered in Jackson this weekend

WEST JACKSON — The Kirkland Cancer Center is offering free cancer screenings this weekend. All uninsured women age 40 and older can drop by the West Tennessee Imaging Center on 300 Coatsland Drive for a breast cancer screening Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon. Officials say all women need to have the screening if they notice symptoms or have a family history of the disease. Physicians will be available to provide clinical breast exams as well as schedule mammograms if needed. Call the Kirkland Cancer Center at 731-541-5087 to schedule an appointment.
