Prepare for Fall’s first taste of winter
JACKSON, Tenn.- Once this storm passes through, expect the temperatures to take a nose dive. By Saturday, they could be down right wintry. If you have already done some fall planting local experts said, even with temperatures feeling like they are below freezing most of your plants should be fine. “House plants can be a concern you would want to bring those in the house to protect them. When it gets that cool most of your other plants will be fine until it gets towards freezing outside actual frost,” said Jason Reeves, research horticulturist with West Tennessee Research and Education.
