Man shot by ex-wife appears in McNairy Co. court

McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Jeffery Carrol, charged with kidnapping, domestic assault, burglary and vandalism, was arraigned Monday in McNairy County General Sessions Court. Carrol was taken to the hospital in September after reportedly being shot three times by his ex-wife during a domestic incident at her home. He was later arrested in Itawamba County, Miss. Carrol is scheduled to appear in court again Nov. 5 for a preliminary hearing. He is still recovering from his injuries.
