TRENTON, Tenn. – A warning from Trenton Light and Water – the utility says scammers are preying on their customers. According to Trenton Light and Water officials, customers have been receiving phone calls from someone claiming to be part of the company. The caller tells the person their bill is over due and if they don’t pay right away, their power and water will be cut off immediately. The utility said it would never use this type of tactic. If you receive one of these calls, you’re urged to hang up immediately and report it to the Trenton Light and Water Office.
