Demolition winds down at U of M Lambuth

WEST JACKSON — The final homes to be demolished came down Wednesday on the outskirts of the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus in Jackson. Over the past few weeks, crews have torn down abandoned homes that line the edge of the West Jackson campus. The houses are on property owned by the state. University officials have yet to say how they plan to use the land.
