DYERSBURG, Tenn. — The Jackson father wanted on counts of child neglect will not be back in Madison County for a while. Michael Bane Sr. must spend the next 20 days in the Dyer County Jail. A court clerk said Bane pleaded guilty Friday to an evading arrest charge, while a count of solicitation was dropped. After 20 days, Bane will be brought back to Jackson to face the three child neglect charges. His wife, Coty Bane, was charged Monday with the same three counts. Police say their 13, 10 and 9-year-old children are now being cared for by an aunt.
