TBI: Crossville man charged in wife’s death

COOKEVILLE — A Cumberland County grand jury has indicted a Crossville man accused of killing his wife, according to a release from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Matthew Owens faces a first-degree murder charge. Investigators say skeletal remains found on Sept. 27 in Cumberland County belong to Owen’s wife, Nina Karen Owens. Matthew Owens is being held on $500,000 bond.
