Two injured in North Jackson wreck

NORTH JACKSON — Two people are sent to the hospital after an afternoon traffic accident in North Jackson. Those injured were transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Jackson Fire Department. The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 45 Bypass and Old Humboldt Road. Traffic was backed up in the southbound lane of the bypass as wreckers cleared the scene of the accident.
