Hundreds turn out for Rockabilly Riot

JACKSON, Tenn. — Hundreds of people turned out Saturday morning in Downtown Jackson for a riot unlike any other. Runners started the 4 mile Rockabilly Riot obstacle course at the lift. It included a dip in ice water, a mud pit, and other obstacles. Organizers say at least 250 people participated in the annual event. Proceeds from the race will benefit a local first responders’ fund. Organizers say they expect to raise about $10,000.
