UT Martin receives nearly $2M grant

MARTIN, Tenn. — The U.S. Department of Education has awarded a five-year grant totaling nearly $2 million to the University of Tennessee at Martin. The funding was awarded through the Title III Strengthening Institutions program. Funding for the program begins this month and continues through September 2019. The allowance also will support the “Soaring Toward Success” project aimed at enhancing post-secondary success. This is the second such award UT Martin has received in the past 10 years.
