Man Jackson police say was asleep at wheel faces new charges

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man arrested after Jackson police say they found him asleep behind the wheel at an East Jackson intersection saw new charges Wednesday. Latodd Traylor was charged with additional counts of introducing contraband into a penal facility after jailers say they found him in his cell with a cigarette in his mouth and cocaine in his shirt pocket. He was originally booked on drug, weapon and driving offenses. Traylor is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond.
